Senior Home Care Services
At Best Home Care, we provide compassionate, professional in-home care services for seniors across Massachusetts. Our dedicated nurses and caregivers assist with daily activities, personal care, companionship, and more to ensure seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own home.
Our Services
Free Nurse Consultation
A registered nurse will do an intake and physical assessment of your loved one and will then establish a personalized care plan, to be followed by the caregiver. Assistance is provided to the family and/or client to obtain services available in the community. The consultation is free of charge and may be initiated over the phone, at the client’s home, a facility residential setting, or in our office (note: subject to restrictions due to COVID-19).
RN/LPN Services
Skilled nursing care includes but is not limited to: nursing assessments, IV medication administration, medication prefills, wound care, cardiovascular assessments, school nursing, public health nursing, maternal/child health, hospice care, private duty care, and case management.
Certified Nursing Assistants/
Certified Home Health Aides/
Services include: assistance with personal care, bathing, showering, mouth and nail care, range of motion exercise, assistance with transfers, medication reminders and assistance taking medications ordered by physicians in prefilled containers, homemaking chores, maternal/child health, as well as Alzheimer’s, hospice, and palliative care. This is under the supervision of a nurse and following a plan of care that has been established by the RN.
Personal Care
Personal care assistance with bathing, dressing, shampoo, hair, foot care, nail care (excluding cutting nails), denture care, shaving, bedpans, eating, ambulation and transfers. The personal care plan is developed and implemented by a registered nurse.
Homemaker
Shopping, menu planning, meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping, which includes activities that assist clients in maintaining their homes, and correcting or preventing environmental defects that may be hazardous to a client’s health and safety, including but not limited to: vacuuming, washing floors, dish washing, cleaning the kitchen and bathroom, and changing linens.
Live-In Caregivers
Services are provided by one home care aide over 24 hour time period. This service is provided for clients who sleep through the night while needing someone in the home because the client can not be left alone.
Companion Care
Companions provide activities related to socialization and recreation, assistance with preparation of light meals and snacks, help with shopping and errands, escort to medical appointments, senior centers, and walks.
Transportation Services
We provide safe and reliable transportation to and from health care facilities for appointments, senior centers, shopping, and for socializing events.
Manicures and Hair Services
Manicure services or hair services including wash, cut, set, and blow dry. These services are provided to the client by a licensed professional in the comfort of your home.
